DRM Package

Our DRM (Driver Risk Management) Package takes all the guessing out of budgetary planning and control.

For a fixed fee per head we will arrange for all your business drivers to undergo an online driver risk assessment (See ‘Electronic Products/Online Risk assessments’ for more information), which will determine their risk rating, based principally on their driving environment.

Those coming out at low risk will need no action, other than logging on the system for a repeat risk assessment in a year’s time. Those assessed as at medium risk will be recommended for Drive & Survive’s online E-Learning training tool (see Electronic Products/E-Learner Programme for more information). Those who come out as At Risk will be offered in-vehicle hands-on practical driver coaching, more details of which can be obtained from the ‘Hands On Training/On-Road Coaching’ section of the website.

Drive & Survive will look after all the booking and administration associated with the DRM Package and all you need to do is give us a list of names and contact details. We will do the rest. And it doesn’t matter what vehicle mix you have in your fleet – we can provide training on cars, vans, minibuses, coaches, trucks and other specialist application vehicles.

We will also provide you with detailed monthly management information, so you can track the progress of your drivers within the programme.

You will be allocated a Drive & Survive Account Manager, who will monitor the programme on an on-going basis and, in conjunction with you, make any detail modifications that might be needed to meet your objectives.

In addition you will receive our monthly electronic newsletter, which contains information on legislation updates, business driver-related news stories and useful hints and tips to pass onto your driving colleagues.

This package is available in a number of pricing options, for as little as £3 per driver per month, based on a three-year contract; irrespective of the mix of interventions recommended by the online risk assessment.

By implementing the DRM Package you will not only be on your way to making substantial fleet running costs savings but also be complying with your employee duty of care obligations. In addition you will also have the safety net of being able to demonstrate that you have a process of effective risk assessment and remedial actions in place if ever called to do so by the police, health and safety authorities or the coroner.
